The Screen-Free Parenting Community is a community Facebook page associated with the website www.screenfreeparenting.com. We aim to be a place where all members can get support and ideas for handling technology in the family setting. We tend to promote screen-free or very screen-limited for the few years of life, during which brain development is rapid and largely dependent on environmental influence. Once your child is pre-school aged or older, we promote raising tech-wise kids through the use of regular family conversations and monitoring, as well as age-appropriate limits. We know that parenting around screen-time is tough and we are here to help with articles, research and tools. But, sometimes you just want to speak to a fellow parent.
