his is the song that will represent Portugal in Eurovision 2019 - WITH TRANSLATED CAPTIONS! Tiago Miranda aka Conan Osiris fuses portuguse fado, gipsy and arab influences to create almost surreal results that border geniality. Although the lyrics may sound a bit "out there", they hold a message that can be decifered after a closer look. On this song that will probably represent Portugal on the 2019 Eurovision contest, he sings about relationships, "saudade" wich would be most closely translated as a deep sense of longing, and mobile phones. He wants to break them. ALL. Seriously. I get his point. I chose the animation "Are you lost in the world like me" because it conveys this sense of sadness and despair over a life that isn`t fully lived, because cellphones get in the way. But the animation doesn`t make full justice to the song. Judge it by yourself. THIS SONG IS NOT ABOUT CELLPHONES ALONE. Hope you enjoy the clip and the song. Vote for Portugal!
